Latest company news about What are the common polarity conversion methods for LCDs?

LCD is a common electrical product in our life, so how much do we know about LCD?

As well as the working characteristics of LCD. And what is the common polarity conversion mode of LCD?

The driving voltage of liquid crystal cannot be fixed at a certain value, otherwise, the polarization of liquid crystal molecules will occur for a long time, thus gradually losing the spin characteristics.

Therefore, in order to avoid the destruction of the characteristics of liquid crystal molecules, the driving voltage of liquid crystal molecules must undergo polarity conversion, which requires the display voltage on the LCD screen to be divided into two polarities, one is positive and the other is negative.

When the voltage of the display electrode is higher than the voltage of the common electrode, it is called positive polarity; when the voltage of the display electrode is lower than the voltage of the common electrode, it is called negative polarity.

Both positive and negative polarity will have a set of grayscale with the same brightness, so when the absolute value of the absolute difference between the two layers of glass is fixed, the grayscale is exactly the same.

However, in both cases, the liquid crystal molecules are oriented in exactly opposite directions, and the characteristic damage described above can be avoided when the liquid crystal molecules are always fixed in one direction.

There are four common ways of polarity conversion: frame-by-frame, row-by-row, column-by-column and point-by-point.
